Submissions On Tax Reform
(N.Z. Press Association) AUCKLAND, Oct. 31. Submissions on tax reform were being received in “steady numbers” for the hear, ing to begin in Wellington on November 9, the chairman of the Taxation Review Committee, Mr L. N. Ross, .Of Auckland, said today. “They have mainly come from individuals, but a lot are from national bodies,” he said. “Some have had to be given an extension of time because of the full nature of their submissions.” He said it would take the committee “quite a while” to consider all the submissions. The committee will meet for two-day periods twice monthly. The review could take up to a year, said Mr Ross.
