The former Canterbury pacer, Urrall, changed hands recently at 12,500 dollars after he had won a claiming race. He was bought by the Farrington Stables, for whom he won in 2min 1 3-ssec at Hollywood Park, during the week ended October 22. Other New Zealand-bred winners at, Hollywood Park included Glenurquhart (2min 2 l-ssec), Great Reveller (2 min 6 2-ssec), Summit Road (2min 4 l-ssec), Spring Garrison (2min 1 l-ssec), Smoke Up (2min 3sec and 2min 4 1- and Seafield Prince (2min 3sec). Yakety Yak won at Vernon Downs in 2min 4 4-ssec, and Caledonian Scott (2min 3 2-5 sec), Aero Scott (2min 4 2-5 sec), Lauder Scott (2min 1 2- Seafield Scott (2min 5 4-ssec) and Nelson Hanover (2min llsec) were successful at Liberty Bell. Tutankhamen (2min 5 1-5 sec), James Evander (2min 5 4-ssec), Loyal Hanover (2min 6 l-ssee) and Intrigue (2min 4 2-ssec) were successful at Yonkers Raceway. The 14-year-old Highland Glen won in 2min 14 3-ssec at Rockingham Park, and Admit (2min 5 2-ssec) and Commonwealth (2min 8 4-ssec) were successful at Garden City Raceway, Ontario. Highland Raider won in 2min 4 3-ssec at Roosevelt Raceway, and Lookout won in 2min 4 4-ssec and Kufra in 2min 4 2-ssec at the same meeting.

Plans For Tobias (Special Crspdt. N.Z.P.A.) AUCKLAND. Tobias would remain in Christchurch for the four days of the New Zealand Trotting Cup meeting, no matter how he fared in the cup next Tuesday, J. Butcher, who trains the horse and races him in partnership with Mr D. W. J. Anderson, said on Monday. Butcher will take Tobias south by air on Friday. Others in the plane will be the pacers, Miles Gentry and Tuta Tryax, and the gallopers, Gold Chick, Mr Mink and Foxvale. Mr Anderson will fly to Christchurch on Tuesday morning and return home to Pukekohe on Wednesday. Butcher said Tobias had done well since his dual success at the Auckland meeting during Labour week-end. “I think he will go a great race next week,” he said. The Cambridge gelding. Oakhampton, left for Christchurch by float early yesterday. He was in the care of Miss B. Lee, a daughter of Oakhampton’s trainer, C. G. Lee. Miss Lee will look after Oakhampton in Christchurch. She will be helped by the gelding’s driver, J. P. Baker, at present in Wellington. Baker will go to Christchurch on Saturday. Lee will fly south on Monday. He will return on Wednesday.
