Mon Amie, repeated his first-night effort to take the Otaki Cup, first leg of the double at the Otaki Trotting Club’s meeting at Hutt Park last night. The bracketed pair, Carbon King and Lookahead, fought out the finish of the second leg, the Farewell Handicap, to return a double dividend of £23 Is for £l. The off-course substitute was Padlock, which finished near the rear of the field. Results:—
