Strip-Tease
Sir, —Like “Parent” I sup port Cr. R. H. Stillwell in opposing strip-tease, which is not clean entertainment for young people. Mr Stillwell has run shows for years, and has not needed strip-tease to draw large crowds. The City Council should ban strip-tease as it degrades our women and so increases our already high incidence of sex crimes. St. Paul tells us that the body is the temple of the Holy Ghost, and so we as Christions should try to make our city morally beautiful to : match its natural beauty. Tourists do not want this sort of entertainment. It is not (New Zealand in creation, and lis an imitation of Soho night i life. —Yours, etc., INTERESTED. I October 20, 1966. ,
