Seafield Prince, a New Zea-land-bred horse, driven by his part owner, J. Grenier, overcame being trapped on the inside in the final balf-furlong to win the 5000-dollar Garden Grove Pace on Wednesday at Hollywood Park. The imported pacer covered the mile in a good lmin 59 1-5 sec. The long shot. Scottish Design. appeared to be the winner until Seafield Prince worked clear and got to the outside to win by a length. Seafield Prince paid 9.20, 5 20 and 3.40.
