First World Squash Titles
<V Z. Press Assn.—Copyright > MELBOURNE. The first world amateur squash rackets championships will be held in Australian next August. Seven countries — Australia, Britain, New Zealand, South Africa, India. Pakistan and the United Arab Republic—will compete. The teams’ series will be held in Sydney from August 6-16 and the single championship in Melbourne from August 18-27. Tennis Win.—The New Zealander, J. R. McDonald, seeded fourth in the men's singles, beat the Lancashire junior champion R Maskell. 6-0. 6-4, in the second round of the Stalybridge (Cheshire) covered court tennis tournament. Coif Trophy.—F. Reavey won the Underwriters’ Cup in the Canterbury Fire and Accident Underwriters’ Association s annual golf match at Russley.
