REPORT ON MANILA

Mr Averill Harriman, President Johnson’s roving ambassador, will visit several Asian and European countries after the Manila summit conference on Vietnam, to inform Government leaders on the results.
A State Department official, announcing this yesterday, said that one of Mr Harriman’s stops would be in Paris where he would give the N.A.T.O. Council a report on the seven-nation Manila session.
