Would Move To Hagley
If any of the clubs at present using Hagley Park wished to move, the Marist Cricket Club would be prepared to take over a share in the ground. Officials of the club said this on Tuesday. It has been suggested frequently in recent years that West-University, one of the four clubs now playing on Hagley, may move to Ham. If one of the clubs moved, the ground rental of £l3OO a year probably would be too much for the others to bear, but Marist’s offer would solve this problem.
