3 Weeks’ Holiday
(Special Crspdt. N.Z.P A > LONDON, October 19. Britain's workers are moving steadily towards the Trade Union Council’s goal of three weeks’ paid holiday a year. This is the conclusion of a survey based on 171 firms which employ more than 500,000 workers. Seventeen per cent of the companies give manual workers a basic three weeks a year, and more than 30 per cent of all workers are given a basic three weeks a year paid holiday.
