DETONATOR EXPLODES
Boy Suffers Eye Injuries (N.Z. Press Association) DUNEDIN, Oct. 10. An U-year-old boy is in the Dunedin Public Hospital with eye injuries received when a detonator he was playing with exploded. After an operation on Saturday, hospital authorities said the boy’s condition was satisfactory. Police said the boy, together with other children, had taken the explosives from a locked store near the Caversham railway station on Saturday afternoon and were playing with them when one exploded. The other children were not injured.
