Hours from 7.45 a.m .to 5 p.m. TH LYTTELTON HARBOUR BOARD PUBLIC NOTICE OF PROPOSED APPLICATION FOR SANCTION OF LOAN PORT DEVELOPMENT LOAN NO. 11 NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Lyttelton Harbour Board proposes, at a special meeting to be held on 2nd November, 1966, to consider a motion to apply to the Local Government Loans Board for its sanction to the borrowing of a further sum of £500,000 (Five hundred thousand pounds) for the purpose of carrying out work incidental to the construction of a breakwater and retaining wall as shown on plan M.D. 9932 and the construction of berthage contiguous thereto. The security for such loan shall be the dues, rates, profits, fines, levies and other moneys which may be claimed, demanded and collected by the Harbour Board for payment to the Harbour Fund and as further security for the moneys authorised to be borrowed, moneys raised and appropriated in terms of Section 5 of the Lyttelton Harbour Board Loan and Empowering Act 1955 and Section 5 of the Lyttelton Harbour Board Loan Act 1956. Their Excellencies will undertake the following public engagements, which the people of Cheviot are cordially invited to attend. CONWAY FLAT: Their Excellencies will visit the Conway Flat School, arriving at 2.30 p.m. on Tuesday, October 11, and will stop for approximately 15 minutes. PARNASSUS: Their Excellencies will visit the Parnassus School on Tuesday, October 11. and a reception will be held in the school grounds commencing at 3.25 on that afternoon. This will be followed by afternoon tea. which will be served in the Parnassus Hall. If the weather is wet, the reception will also be held in the hall. CHEVIOT: There will be a Civic Reception in the grounds of the Cheviot District High School on Wednesday, October 12, commencing at 9.15 a.m. If wet, this reception will be held in the Cheviot War Memorial Hall.
