Brown Returns To Team
(N.Z. Press Association) NEW PLYMOUTH. After missing the match against Auckland because of injury, the Taranaki captain, R. H. Brown, returns to the team for the final match of the season, against King Country at New Plymouth on Saturday. Playing inside Brown, at half-back will be the young R. Rowson, who replaces D. Wards, Taranaki’s regular half-back since the early part of this season. Rowson will be playing only his second match for Taranaki but displayed considerable promise in his first against Southland several weeks ago.
