Membership of the Rangiora branch of the Marylands Ladies’ Auxiliary was steadily growing, the president (Mrs A. A. Power) reported to the annual meeting. The main drive for funds for the home for mentally retarded boys was a successful shop day last June. Officers elected were:— President, Mrs Power; vicepresident, Mrs L. M. King: secretary-treasurer.
