Boys’ Brigade Shield Games
Boys’ Brigade teams from Otago will play Canterbury for the F. K. Smith Rugby Challenge Shield 'seven-a-side) and the inter-provincial Stedfast Rugby 15-a-aide Shield next Saturday. Two links held their Rugby and soccer competitions on Saturday to determine who would enter the area tournament. Results were:— Rugby.—North-east link: 30th Christchurch 19, Sth Christchurch 0. South-east link: 20th Christchurch «, ■ 11th Christchurch 3. Soccer.—North-east link: 3rd Christchurch 3, 32nd Christchurch 0. The teams competing in the Rugby tournament will be 30th Christchurch (St. Albans), 20th Christchurch <Woolston), 33rd (Hoon Hay), 13th Christchurch 'Upper Riccarton), Ist Rangiora, Ashburton and Otago.
