Hour Under Tractor
(A'.Z. Press Association • AUCKLAND, Sept. 18 A man spent a painful hour trapped in a pool of petrol beneath an overturned trac tor on Saturday before he was freed by rescuers using a front-end loader and a heavv timber jack. A fire engine was called to the accident—ln Redvale road between Brown's Bay and Silverdale—because of the danger from petrol fumes. The injured man, Leon Clifdord Prouse. aged 25. of Silverdale, suffered a broken leg. He was In a fairly satis factory condition at Middlemore Hospital tonight.
