HONG KONG. Sept. 16
American naval helicopters, today rescued 20 men from a British ship breaking up on! a reef in the South China Sea.' A Royal Navy frigate is trying to take the other 24 crew members off by raft. The helicopters swooped down to collect the men from the stricken 10,420-ton ore carrier, August Moon. The British ship called for help after grounding on Pratas reef, about 180 miles southeast of Hong Kong.
