INDONESIAN DEBTS
Talks Start In London (N.Z P. A -Reuter —Copyright> LONDON, September 9. Indonesian and British Ministers met in London yesterday to discuss the rescheduling of Indonesia’s commercial debts and compensation for British assets now controlled by Indonesia. Indonesia’s commercial debt to Britain amounts tn about £l2 million, about 7 per cent of Indonesia's commercial debts in the West. Britain has also claimed £600,000 compensation for damage to the British Embassy and private property during the anti-Malaysia riots in 1963, and about £5O million for British assets sieized by Indonesia.
