Fire Damages Workshops
(N.Z. Press Association) PAEROA, Sept. 11. The Ministry of Works workshops at Paeroa were damaged by fire on Friday morning. The bridge gang’s workship, the store-room and part of the mechanical workshop were destroyed and damage was estimated at several thousand pounds. The Paeroa Volunteer Fire Brigade had the fire under control within 30 minutes.
