FIRE INSTITUTE EXAMINATIONS
Chch. Man’s Marks NX’s Highest Mr B. T. Gordon, of Christchurch, has topped New Zealand in this year’s Institute of Fire Engineers (associate member) examinations. The examinations are held in many countries. Last year Mr Gordon won the Ford prize for top New Zealand marks in the graduate examination. This year he wins the Wormaid Bros, prize. Mr Gordon, aged 25, is employed by a Christchurch fire protection firm and has served in fire brigades. He was born in Christchurch and educated at Linwood High School.
