Railways Rugby Won By N.I.
(N.Z. Press Association) INVERCARGILL. In a fast, loose game at Rugby Park, Invercargill, on Saturday, North Island Railways beat South Island Railways, 31-13. The score was a fair indication of each team’s ability. For North Island Railways, tries were scored by J. Duffy, R. Ruwhiu, N. F. T. Lomax, E. W. 0. Hamon, A. Evans (2), and N. Hi pi a. T. Gordon and I. H. Rutene kicked a penalty goal and a conversion. For South, tries were scored by J. Tapara, R. W. Satherly, S. Pulu; C. W. Cullen kicked two conversions.
