Handbag Snatched

A woman walking along Moorhouse avenue just after midnight on Saturday had her handbag snatched from her by a youth at the corner of Barbadoes street. A black car drove up beside the woman. A youth jumped out. pushed the woman and grabbed her handbag. He then leapt into the car which drove off. The handbag was found later in Wilson’s road. A transistor radio, valued at £2O, was stolen. Personal papers and £3 in the bag were not taken.
