Rugby Fans In Moscow
If the findings of Mr N. E. McKenzie, a former Canterbury Rugby representative and secretary of the Pines Beach Cricket Club, are any judge, Muscovites are more interested in the Lions matches than Londoners. Mr McKenzie, at present on a tour of England, Europe and the U.S.A., says in a letter to a friend that full accounts of the Lions’ matches in New Zealand are appearing in Russian newspapers the day after the games were played, and fuller than in English newspapers.
