Aid In Refugee Resettlement
The National Council of Churches is urgently seeking a land reclamation officer to help with the resettlement of refugees in Assam. The man chosen will be required to administer the tractor unit and earth-moving machinery which will be used to contour and terrace land. He will also be required to train Indians in the work. A previous appointee had had to withdraw, Mr F. G. Heard, inter-church aid secretary of the council, said yesterday.
