He was asked what advice he had for British manufacturers. “1 wouldn't like to advise my competitors. The train, 1 regret, has already left the station.” But Rover, with its excellent Rover 2000, tripled sales in the United States in 1965 and is expected to do even better this year. British sports cars continue to do well although competition in this field is increasing.
