COLTS’ HOCKEY TOURNEY
Canterbury Almost Unbeatable Canterbury is in an almost unbeatable position in the southern zone colts’ hockey tournament being played at Invercargill. With its final match to be played today, Canterbury is two points in front of its nearest rival. In three games so far, Canterbury has beaten Otago 3-1, Wellington 2-1 and Southern Union 2-0. The outstanding players for Canterbury have been C. Doig, R. Campbell, and C. Holstein in the backs and halves, and T. Burrows and D. Fletcher on attack.
