DEATH OF NUN

(N.Z.P.A.-Reuter—Copyright) HONG KONG, Sept. 1. One of the eight nuns expelled from China on espionage charges yesterday died in a Hong Kong hospital today. She was Mary O'Sullivan, known as Sister Eamonn, from Cork. Ireland. Sister Eamonn. aged 60. was one of the two nuns who fainted as they crossed into Hong Kong under a hail of abuse from a group of Red Guards, estimated up to 700 strong. She was said to have died peacefully, with the other seven nuns at her side. The other nun wh > fainted, a 76-year-old Canadian, Winifred Duff. «:nown as Mother Mary of the Cross, is recovering in hospital.
