(N.Z. Press Association) AUCKLAND, August 31. James Alvin Dunster, aged 18, a shop assistant, who was charged last week with the murder of his mother at Herne Bay, was today charged with four earlier offences—assault with intent to convert a car, attempted car conversion, and two charges of wilfully damaging telephones. Sergeant M. K. Huggard asked Mr L. G. H. Sinclair, S.M., for a remand until tomorrow, when Dunster will appear on “another matter.” This was granted.
