Nurses’ Strike Ends
(N.Z. Press Assn.—Copyright) SAN FRANCISCO, Aug. 31. Civil service nurses tonight accepted a state- ofemergency pay rise proposal to end a “sick leave” strike of one day that forced a drastic reduction in patients at three city hospitals. The nurses were to return to work today.
