‘Doomsday’
(N.Z.P.A.-Reuter—Copyright) LONDON, August 31. There will be “standing room only” throughout the world on November 13, 2026, a scientist claimed today. The scientist, Dr. Robert White-Stevens, nominated November 13, 2026, as “doomsday,” when the world population will reach 50,000 million if present trends are maintained. The present figure is 3375 million. “This would mean a density of 10,000 a square mile over the entire land surface of the planet, including the poles, the mountains and the deserts,” he said.
