Press Association) AUCKLAND, Aug. 29. 2 British machine tool manu- . facturers regarded the small New Zealand market as of key importance in their industry and were confident they could expand their trade here, members of a British trade mission said today. The 11-man group, which is sponsored by the British Government and the Machine Tool Trades Association, will spend a fortnight meeting 5 agents and trying to sell more , equipment to industry. 1 The leader of the mission. s Mr G. K. E. McCall, said s British machine tool exports 1 to New Zealand were worth r between £1.5 and £2 million f annually. He said machine tool manufacturers from other countries t were finding their way to s New Zealand and members 1 of his mission would be pay- • ing particular attention to the ■ type and range of equipment from those sources.
