SYDNEY, August 29.
Deaths from tuberculosis in Australia have dropped from 24 a 100,000 in 1948 to 3.7, according to a Health Information and Research Service booklet just published.
The booklet states that the Commonwealth Health Department has spent 91 million dollars in the fight against tuberculosis since 1950.
