Free Enterprise Movement

The establishment of a movement for the advancement of free enterprise has been announced by Mr V. Wilkinson, of Ashburton.

He said that a plea for return to free, com--petitive enterprise had been issued after a combined meeting of the Christchurch branch of the Constitutional Society and the adherents of the movement of which he was the convener. In a statement issued after the meeting it was said that the adherents of free enterprise “were set on a collision course with the state planners who aspired to scheme the greater part of our economic and civic life."
