N. KOREAN STAND
Leaning To Russia (N.ZP.A.-Reuter—Copyright) TOKYO, Aug. 21. North Korea has confirmed its swing away from Peking in the Sino-Soviet ideological war of words. In an editorial, the official Communist Party newspaper, “Rodong Shinmoon,” has singled out the Soviet Union as a country w’ith which she wants closer friendship. This followed an editorial in the paper in which North Korea made a clear declaration of neutrality between Russia and China after a period of Peking-orientated policy.
