REPORT ON UNION
Approval By Churches (N.Z. Press Association) WELLINGTON, Aug. 21. General approval of the 1965 report of the Joint Commission on Church Union has been given by the supreme courts of the negotiating churches—Anglican, Associated Churches of Christ, Congregational, Methodist, and Presbyterian. Reports received at the Wellington meeting of the commission last week showed that the main direction of the commission’s work had proved acceptable. However, further clarification has been sought on some of the issue* raised.
