Videotaping At Addington
Races were videotaped at Addington Raceway on Saturday. The control equipment was in the stipendiary stewards’ room with cameras at the entrance to the bend leaving the front straight and in the middle of the course. It had not been decided whether races would be videotaped in future, said a club spokesman. Tapes of the races would be shown to members of the committees of the three Christchurch trotting clubs and it was hoped to have celluloid films of one or two races for comparison.
