England 46 Gold Medals
(N.Z.P.A.-lteuter—Copyright) KINGSTON (Jamaica). England held first position with 44 gold medals when the Commonwealth Paraplegic Games ended on Saturday. Australia finished - with 31. Scotland 12, Jamaica eight and New Zealand and Fiji one each The games closed with competitions in swimming, pentathlon, archery, weight-lifting and fencing. The Australian, Miss D Ceeney, completed a great performance, winning the swimming and pentathlon events Competing in nearly every sport,, she captured five gold medals and numerous silver and bronze.
