Behaviour In Theatres
Sir, —The theatre managements are responsible for the behaviour of their patrons. I found when in the show business that the only satisfactory way to treat the few noisy trouble-makers who interfered with the entertainment of the many was to eject them from the hall. Such drastic measures towards the larrikin element in local theatres is definitely necessary to save falling attendance.—Yours, etc., REG. H. STILLWELL. August 18, 1966.
