TECHNICIAN TRAINING
Delegate To Go To Talks (Special Crspdt. N.Z.PA) LONDON, August 19. New Zealand ’s expected to be represented at a Commonwealth specialist conference to be held in Huddersfield, Yorkshire, during October. The conference, the third in a series of specialist meetings on the form of education and training of technicians, will be attended by more than 100 delegates. Arrangements for the conference, to take place between October 17 and 29 are being made by the Commonwealth education liaison committee. Delegates will include directors and inspectors of technical education, principals of technical teacher training colleges and major technical institutes and their senior assistants, together with officials concerned with the administration of technician training programmes.
