Mineral Water Tap Approved
(N.Z Press Association) NELSON, August 19. A proposal to tap underground reservoirs of hot mineral water at Tahuna Beach has been accepted by the Nelson City Council. Mr S. E. Lawrence, a welldigger who made the proposal, estimated the cost at £20.000 and the draw-off at 5000 gallons of water an hour at a temperature of about 100 degrees Fahrenheit.
