W. D. Skelton Still Unfit
(N.Z. Press Association) PALMERSTON NORTH. W. D. Skelton has decided against riding at the Cartermeeting today. He has not yet fully recovered from his fall from Wester in the Winton Racing Club’s annual ter Cup at Riccarton. Skelton expects to "be fit enough to accept engagements at the Foxton fixture next week. Meanwhile, Myree, for which Skelton was engaged at Tauherenikau, will be ridden by T. M. Whittington. So far E. Ropiha has not engaged a substitute jockey for Caplin at the same meeting.
