(N.Z. Press Assoctatton) AUCKLAND. O. Sarapu. the New Zealand chess champion is leading with R. Naranja, of the Philippines, in the zone 10 international chess tournament in Auckland. In games yesterday. D. Djamal. of Indonesia, drew with R. P. Brent, of Australia: Djamal beat D. Hamilton, of Australia; E. De Castro, of the Philippines, beat Hamilton: and Sarapu beat R. Naranja, of the Philippines. In the final round, Sarapu will play de Castro, and the other leader, Naranja, will meet the Australian champion, Hamilton. Points, with one round left, were: Sarapu and Naranja 6. Sutton and Djamal 5, de Castro 4i. Hamilton 4. Tan Lian Sen and Chan Ping Yuen 3, Sitompul 2, Brent 1.
