McDougall Withdrawn
A former New Zealand amateur champion. E. J. McDougall, of Tokoroa, has I withdrawn from the championship meeting which begins at Russley on September 5. Advice of McDougall's withdrawal was received yesterday, from the New Zealand Golf Association. In the foursomes on the first day of the meeting, McDougall was to have partnered the present amateur champion, J. D. Durry, of Wellington. McDougall’s place has been taken by W. Page (Papaparaumu). In the first round of the singles on Tuesday, September 6, McDougall was drawn with M. R. Blank, of Christchurch. Blank will now play with R. S. Peate, of Christchurch.
