Training For Antarctic
(N.Z. Press Association) NEW PLYMOUTH, Aug. 14. More than 40 men are spending a week training at the Waiouru military camp and Mount Ruapehu in preparation for the 1966-67 Antarctic season at Scott Base. The men arrived at the camp on Friday evening and during the week-end they were given lectures on Scott Base activities. From tomorrow until they leave on Friday for a rest the party will be on Mount Ruapehu for ski-ing and climbing training.
