Independence Celebrations
(N.Z.P. A.-Reuter —Copyright) NEW DELHI, Aug. 15. The Prime Minister of India. Mrs Indira Gandhi, todayhoisted the Indian flag in a torrential rainstorm in NewDelhi as India celebrated the nineteenth anniversary of its independence. As Mrs Gandhi called for unity and determination to see the country through its difficulties, a mild earthquake shook the city for about half a minute.
