Manufacturer Negotiates The governing director of ?D.L. Industries. Ltd. (Mr R. H. Stewart), said in Christchurch yesterday that he had ■eturned from important negolions in England with an English company and an Austra‘ian subsidiary. 7he negotiations were over 'he producing of an extensive. ; mportant range of electrical switchgear, in conjunction with the English company. Mr Stewart said that the negotiations “proceeded in a most satisfactory manner." A visit would be made from the English directors of the company this month, to complete the arrangements, he said.
Mr Stewart said that he. could not give more details of the results of his negotiations till they were completed.
