Presbyterian Camps
The Presbyterian Christian Education Department will : hold school camps in Christchurch from August 20 to August 27, and from August 27 to September 3. They will be at the Christchurch Boys’ High School Hostel in Harakeke street. Miss M. R. Marshall, a member of the field staff of the department, said that about 250 children would attend the camps. They would include Bible study, crafts and handwork and ’ visits to places of interest as ' well as evening social activities. The field trips would be to i churches and institutions of other denominations, hospi- ’ tals and homes for retired persons, she said.
