Work To Rule Till Rise Met
(N.Z. Press Association) | AUCKLAND, July 28. Members of the Auckland ; Printers’ Union working in ! plants where employers have ‘refused to pass on the recent .pay increases’awarded by the i Court of Arbitration have ‘been called upon to work to rule until the requirements are met. The union’s board of management reported that daily newspapers and some commercial printing houses had passed on the full increases in Auckland and most other provincial centres. The union objected to a report that Auckland master printers had advised members not to pass on the full award increase to employees already being paid above award rates.
