Badminton Tour • N.Z. Press Association* WELLINGTON. Six of the world’s leading badminton players are likely to be invited to tour New Zealand next year.

The squad will comprise ♦wo Danes, two Indonesians and two Malayans. The tour sub-committee of; ♦he New Zealand Badminton Federation will table a proposal to this effect at next month’s management committee meeting. It is proposed to add two New Zealand players to the group and play the eight-man squad in eight New Zealand venues—five in the North Island and three in the South Island. A round-robin tournament would be conducted with three or four singles and two doubles matches played at each venue. As an additional incentive to make the tour, the federation tours sub-committee recommends that the tourists be provided with a full week of sightseeing. The tour is expected to last two weeks and a half. Players like the Danes, E Kops, F. Kobbero and H. Borc'.i. the Indonesian. Ang Tjin Siang. and the Malay sians. Tan Aik Huang, T_n Vee Khan and Ng Boon Bee. are likely to appear on the “short list” for the tour.
