Man In Truck Killed
(N.Z. Press Association) GISBORNE, July 27. A man was killed when the truck in which he was travelling went off the road about four miles south of Te Karaka, about 1 a.m. today. He was Koro Maehe, aged 22, a road workman, of Te Karaka. A woman cyclist was killed on the Foxton-Himatangi highway this morning when She was involved in a collision about a mile and a half north of Foxton. She was Mrs Alwyn Edna Wright, aged 49, of 19 Herrington street, Foxton. The car was driven by Terence Carkhill, of Himatangi.
