Basketbailers Raffle Car
(N.Z. Press Association) WANGANUI, July 27. The Wanganui Basketball Association was convicted and fined £lOO by Mr B. S. Barry, S.M., today on a charge of raffling a car. The association admitted the charge. The Magistrate said that in view of the raffle profit of £7OO, there would be nothing to stop him imposing the maximum penalty of £2OO.
